Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research (IER) collects, analyzes, and distributes institutional data to inform decision-making, evaluation, planning, and policy formation at Antioch College. Specific functions of IER include:

  • Collecting and reporting data as required by the government

  • Providing institutional data to the general public as appropriate (e.g., college search-engine websites)

  • Coordinating campus-wide surveys

  • Ensuring that the College is positioned to meet current and future needs related to accreditation

  • Implementing a system of integrated planning, assessment and evaluation

  • Working with Academic Affairs Assessment Committee to assess student learning outcomes

  • Reporting on progress of strategic initiatives to institutional constituencies

  • Implementing Antioch’s Institutional Review Board and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee
