Antioch College, AACW to Host Joint MLK Celebration

YELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio – December 3, 2010 – Antioch College has announced that it will join with the African American Cross-Cultural Works as a co-host to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day March and Program on January 17, 2011.

Prexy Nesbitt '67, a member of the Antioch College Board Pro Tempore, will deliver the keynote speech. Additional speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Following the MLK program, the Miami Valley Chapter of the Alumni Association will meet in South Hall's Herndon Gallery. Mark Roosevelt, the College's new president, will meet with alumni and the public. Roosevelt assumes office on January 1.
