BACKGROUND: In 1965, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered the commencement address—“Facing the Challenge of a New Age”—to the graduating class. Fifty years later, Antioch College will graduate its first class since reopening—a class of pioneers in their own right, just like many members of the class of 1965 and thousands of alumni before and after. Civil rights champion Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) will deliver the historic commencement address. Over a thousand family, friends, and alumni are expected to attend.

All are invited to join in celebration of this historic occasion. Tickets are not required, but RSVPs are encouraged to ensure appropriate accommodations. For more information, visit http://www.antiochcollege.org/commencement.
