Jean Righter Bolle, friend

Jean Righter Bolle, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2016, following a brief illness, at age 87. Jean was born in Philadelphia, PA, the only child of Ann and Price Righter.

She graduated from Hood College in Frederick, MD, attended Wayne State Law School, and left in her senior year to marry Ed Bolle ‘51, a decision she never regretted. They were married in 1957 and spent 59 loving years together before he passed away in January 2016.

Jean cared deeply for others and was active in Denver community organizations including Metro Caring, Central City Opera Guild, the Symphony Guild, and Kent Denver School, and held church leadership positions. She enjoyed travel with Ed, bridge, reading, watching sports, and the culinary arts.

She is remembered for her unselfish spirit, warm friendship, keen sense of humor, and enduring faith. Jean is survived by her daughter, Christine Bolle-Kim of Glendale, CA, her son, Douglas Bolle (Susie) of Las Vegas, NV, and granddaughters, Diana, Gabby, and Kate.

There was a celebration of Jean's life at Montview Presbyterian Church, Denver, on June 16, followed by a reception at The Denver Country Club. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to Metro Caring, 1100 E. 18th Ave., Denver, CO 80203. For full obituary and to leave condolences, please visit www.HoranCares.com.
