Office of the President

Dr. Thomas Manley began his tenure as president of Antioch College on March 1, 2016.

Hello and Welcome.
Antioch for me is one of the great, iconic places in American Higher education. I compare it to places like Black Mountain College and the Bauhaus, institutions that have always been experimental, that have sought to find the forward moral edge. To stand in a tough space and create education around tough issues of our time.

Antioch is a small college with big ideas. We believe that students should go to college to engage with the world, not retreat from it. Our cooperative and experiential education programs send students around the country and into the world to do meaningful work that will prepare them to be the next generation of change agents.
